Babysitter for a week!

Oi everyone!

This week’s letter is going to be pretty short because literally nothing has happened. Elder Brown, my companion, had to have his wisdom tooth taken out on Saturday so I have been stuck in the house and can't leave until Thursday or Friday... The first day he was all loopy and it was the funniest thing ever to be with a missionary on laughing gas. The whole house was messing with him and pretty much got him to tell us whatever we wanted :) But I guess it is a good week to be stuck in the house considering rainy season has officially begun and water was up to my knees at points just to get to the place to do internet... But it could be worse! But for now I will just be chilling here in Africa all week. I hope you have a great week yourselves!

Tchau!

Another transfer done!

 Hey everyone!

This week has been crazy. Not too much happened other than that this transfer has ended! The time just keeps getting faster and faster. Everyone says it only keeps getting faster from here, but I don't see how that is possible! They still have not announced where everyone is going for transfers, but I will inform you all next week on what happened to me.

One cool thing that happened this week! We have been working with the family, Chabuka and Teresa. He is less active but she has been inactive for
2 years now. We are working on baptizing their kids but it is hard since none of them come to church. We sat with them this week and just talked.
But after the lesson I felt a strong feeling that I needed to buy a 'Frozy' from them. (They sell drinks called Frozy in the road to get money) I asked if I could buy one thinking nothing of it and went on with my day. But guess who came to church!!! Teresa! First time in years! I thanked her for coming and she said, "After you bought that Frozy I felt like I needed to come to church". I have been working with this family for months now and I am glad all I needed to do was buy a drink. :) But I am so glad for the spirit this week. What a great experience.

I hope you all have a great week! Once again, thanks to everyone who writes me so diligently! Every letter and every email means a lot.
Tchau for now!

2 more baptisms!!

Aye everyone!

This was a great week! Full of success! Not too much noteworthy
happened except that Beto (a youth) and Fernando (a man whose wife died) both got baptized on Saturday!!! It was a great service! Both of them were extremely happy. Fernando has been investigating the church for 2 years now. He was lost because he kept having to move because of his work. One day he stopped us on the railroad tracks and told us about his story so we decided to sit with him. He is so converted and knows literally everything!!! He has read the Book of Mormon many times; same with the Gospel Principles book that he bought himself.

Our Branch also married and baptized another couple! Pedro and Marcia.  They live in our area but we let the other missionaries teach them since they live on the border and moved into our area pretty recently.  But now we will take over from here. They are amazing and so strong.  Our branch is growing every day and I love it!

The internet is not letting me send pictures but I will send some when I can.

I love you all and Happy Valentines Day

Saturday we held the wedding and shortly after we had the baptism. It took a lot of work and a lot of planning but everything turned out amazing! The wedding turned out amazing and you could feel the spirit so strong. They were so happy! I baptized both of them. It was an amazing experience and I am so happy for them! That is all for this week! Tchau.
