Sad but great week!

Oi Everyone!

Don't get too worried because of the subject title! I will explain!

So, this week really was a great week! We had many new investigators and lessons. So, over all it was a busy week! We sat with this one new guy named Chico... Oh Chico. We got to his house (which was FOREVER away) and when we got there his house was HUGE! He owned a big bar too so I knew immediately that this should be interesting. He sat us down and started teaching us and asked us to open with a prayer. Then he pulls out a bunch of religious books (including the Book of Mormon) and a paper he wrote that was like 10 pages long. One funny part is that he handed my companion and me a piece of paper and a pen and said that we can take notes.... Long story short, he taught us for an hour about why the Book of Mormon was false. His reasoning was "the Bible does not mention this book", but we know it does. We were not going to argue with him so we just bore our testimonies and left. Quite interesting haha, on the bright side he had a turkey and an albino rabbit as pets!

But the sad part of this week is that some of my good friends that I have made on the mission went home this week! They already finished their missions and it is weird to me that they were only a little over half way done when I met them, and now they are finished! Time really does fly!

Anyway I hope you all had a great Easter!

I love you all! Have a great week!

Here is a picture of me in front of some Machambas (places where the people farm).
Here is me, Elder Rash, and Elder Larsen after our Zone Conference! Yes. I am holding a hoe.
Here is one of our amazing families that we are teaching! Serjio and Amina! They are so converted, the only problem at this point is marriage documents. We are working on it though.

Me and Elder Finau (from California). he went home this week.

Cool Week (I am running out of titles)‏

Oi everyone! This week was actually a lot of fun! It was a pretty chill week because all of the outside areas flew here for a zone conference. We had to walk in a lot of triples and do a lot of divisions just to give everyone an area and a companion. So that made this week fly by!

Zone conference was a ton of fun and really spiritual! We talked a lot about faith. Even a grain of faith can bring miracles to happen. Here in our mission we are trying to develop our faith. Neil L Anderson promised that we could get a temple in Mozambique here in the near future if we can get 6 stakes. I am currently in a district and we are SO CLOSE to becoming a stake. So that really motivated me.

There wasn't too much to tell for this week. Other than I did the cinnamon challenge. I do not recommend doing that. Not fun. :)

Here is a pic from that baptism we had last week! I will try to send a couple more pics as well! Have a great week! Tchau!

MORE BAPTISMS AND 9 MONTHS!

Oi Everyone!

A lot has happened lately!

First, last week my companion, Elder Brown, was emergency transferred, so now I have a new companion! His name is Elder Verde and he is from Zimbabwe! He is super cool and we have been getting along great! He is my first non-American companion, so it has been interesting to see the differences in how we live. Sometimes it is hard to talk to him just because of his accent, but I am getting used to it!

I HAVE BEEN ON THE MISSION FOR 9 MONTHS! It is weird to think that the sisters I was with in the MTC are halfway done.... AHHHH Time flies!

Also, the highlight of these past couple of weeks is that we had 3
baptisms on Saturday! Rita, Domingos, and Michell.  Michell is the son of Jeronimo and Suzete, that couple we married and baptized a little bit ago. I tried attaching a picture, so lets hope it sends! 2 other branches had baptisms as well!

I hope you all have a great week! I love you all!

Tchau!

Sorry, I don’t think the photo will send, but I will try later!

PS HAPPY PI DAY!  3.14
